Last updated: September 15, 2026 Welcome to Gaston Motorcycle Werks (“GMW,” “we,” “us,” “our”). These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of  www.gmw-ltd.com  (the “Site”) and any requests, inquiries, estimates, appointments, or services you obtain from us.

By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

1) Who we are

Gaston Motorcycle Werks is a boutique motorcycle repair shop based in Gastonia, North Carolina.

2) Site use (general)

You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of others or restrict their use of the Site.

We may update, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Site at any time.

3) Not legal or safety advice

Information on the Site is provided for general informational purposes only. Motorcycle repair and maintenance can be dangerous. Always follow manufacturer guidance and use qualified professionals.

Any educational content, tips, or general guidance on the Site is not a substitute for professional diagnosis, inspection, or repair.

4) Estimates, diagnostics, and approvals

Any estimate we provide is an estimate only and may change due to parts availability, hidden damage, prior modifications, or other conditions discovered during service.

If the issue is not clear, diagnostics are billed at our hourly labor rate. We will communicate findings and next steps.

Work will not proceed beyond the scope you approve. If additional issues are found, we will contact you for approval before continuing.

5) Parts, delays, and availability

Parts lead times and availability can vary. Delays may occur due to supplier backorders, shipping issues, discontinued parts (especially for vintage motorcycles), or incorrect/previously modified components.

Unless otherwise stated in writing, we do not guarantee completion dates.

6) Customer-supplied parts

You may provide your own parts. However:

• You are responsible for ensuring parts are correct, compatible, and complete.

• We are not responsible for defects, fitment issues, or failures of customer-supplied parts.

• If customer-supplied parts do not fit or function properly, additional labor may be required (including rework), which will be billed accordingly.

7) Payments

Payment terms may be provided on your invoice or during scheduling.

You agree to pay all charges for labor, parts, supplies, and applicable taxes. All sales are final. You agree to not challenging payments by reversing charges on CC payments.

8) Storage and pickup policy

When service is completed, you are responsible for picking up your motorcycle promptly.

A storage fee will apply if a motorcycle is not picked up within 10 days of completion. Current storage fees are $15 per day and may change from time to time.

9) Customer responsibility: insurance and risk of loss

You are responsible for maintaining appropriate insurance coverage for your motorcycle.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, GMW is not responsible for loss or damage due to events outside our reasonable control (including theft, fire, severe weather, vandalism, or other unforeseen events).

10) No financing

We do not offer financing or payment plans unless explicitly agreed in writing.

11) Warranty / callbacks

We stand behind our workmanship and will address issues related to completed work as reasonably and promptly as possible. Because motorcycles vary widely (especially vintage builds and previously modified bikes), we do not offer a blanket written warranty unless explicitly stated on your invoice.

12) Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• The Site is provided “as is” and “as available.”

• We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, regarding the Site.

• GMW will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. If liability cannot be excluded, our total liability for any claim related to the Site will be limited to the amount you paid us for services giving rise to the claim (if any) during the six (6) months prior to the event.

13) Intellectual property

All content on the Site (text, photos, graphics, logos, and other materials) is owned by GMW or used with permission and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from Site content without our prior written permission.

14) Third-party links

The Site may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for third-party content, policies, or practices.

15) Privacy

Your use of the Site is also subject to our Privacy Policy. If a separate Privacy Policy is posted on the Site, it is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

16) Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be effective when posted on this page. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.

17) Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to conflict of law principles.
